Its not about trashing a PS3 exclusive like some say... I was excited for the game after the trailers and previews so I gameflyed it.
Terrible for all the reasons you listed. I agree. I'd rather play 12 year old Goldeneye on N64 than Haze.
I know some people say its an alright game and their entitled to their opinion but I'd have to say those people have really low standards or are starving for a FPS.
And being that PS3 games aren't region coded it makes manufacturing and allocation much easier.
It also means that the whole 50GB is not seen by the player. A large chunk is audio from all the different languages.

Sony is probably eating the difference in disc price until Bluray manufacturing comes down to DVD9 levels. Its probably only a couple bucks a disc if that. Defiantly not $10.
I gamefly'ed it and it wasn't even worth that.
People jumping on it now for $40 will be disappointed a week or two later when its $20.
The non-skippable garbage cut scenes were too much. If you can sit through that AND a generic point and shooter then you have very low standards.
GTA IV is the best open world game ever created and Haze is a generic turd of first person shooter.

Anything that has to do with the PS3 is alright with me. Censorship is perfectly okay when it protects games that I feel strongly about. I mean why should reviewers get to talk about things that SOME people would find negative? MGS4 is perfect. I haven't played it yet but I JUST KNOW its perfect. Doesn't matter if the installation was 50gb and lasted for 3 days. This game is Jesus! Anyone that says anything against it has been paid off by MS!

GTA IV owns the sandbox genre everything else is automatically second place.
The first Saint's Row was a pretty good game... A lot better than anyone thought it would be but it couldn't hold GTA IV jockey shorts. Neither will part 2 although I'm still really looking forward to it because I love open world crime games.

Its software emulation it'll work off disc too. Why wouldn't it the 360's BC works off disc. Its the same thing.
If this actually happens it would be awesome. Removing BC in a rush to reduce price was a black eye for the PS3 in my opinion and this would totally remove it.
Wouldn't help the long term value of my 60GB though...
